1PM – 5PM (Training Field) – DBST Adventure Rider Training Level 2 & Level 3

1PM–5PM – Factory Truck Demos- will be providing demo rides between the times 1PM to 5pm on Thursday.   The rides will be on a designated route with lead and sweep riders. Be sure to check with each Manufacturer for their specific ride times (if available).

3:15 – 4:15 (Video Tent) – Adventure Etiquette Workshop - Before you hit the trail learn how to have more FUN on every adventure by knowing the strategies to be safe and responsible on every ride.  This presentation will cover trail rules and what they mean.  How to organize your group adventure rides to make sure a group of any size has more FUN and stays safe.  Learn how to Tread Lightly to preserve access to our adventure routes.  With Stan Bragg and Jesse Murphy.

4:45PM – 5PM (Mainstage) - Weekend Preview - An overview of the weekend’s activities, rules, and safety protocols hosted by Touratech-USA CEO, Paul Guillien

 

5PM – 5:45PM (Mainstage) – Rider Meeting – We’ll talk about the riding routes, how they are organized, our lead & sweep set-up, our UPDATED rider check- out and check in system and safety protocols. If you’re planning to ride a motorcycle this weekend, your attendance is expected. Hosted by Ride Coordinator, Will Veniez

6PM - (Video Tent) Adventure of a Lifetime (How I built my ADV Business in Belize) – World traveler driven by curiosity, Emma Cases arrived in Belize with a backpack and an open mindset that propelled her to somewhat accidently start the country's first a motorcycle touring business. After 15 years of diligent dedication, she has turned it into a very popular ADV hub where she now rents motos, host tours and has built moto-hostel for visitors and ADV travelers to rest in. Emma will tell the story of the trials and tribulations of setting up a motorcycle adventure business in a developing country and lessons learned in the process.

 

6PM - (Rever Navigation Tent) Route Uploading – GPS Uploading: 2025 Rally Ride Tracks loaded into your GPS Unit by the team from Rever and our ride team will be on-hand to answer questions about the routes

 

6PM – 7PM (Mainstage)– New Rider Rally Welcome and Orientation– Never been to the Touratech Rally? There is so much to do and so much know. Join adventure rider and the hostess with the mostest, Eva Rupertas she fills you in on everything Touratech Rally!

7PM (Rev-It Booth Area) 3rd Annual Rev-It! Rendezvous Social – Whether you’re new to the scene or a seasoned adventurer, the REV’IT! Rendezvous is your chance to connect with fellow riders and build new friendships. Hosted by #revitriders and ADV community leaders, this welcoming gathering offers a great mix of camaraderie, casual icebreakers, and good vibes. Enjoy free sodas and beers, take part in fun activities, and maybe even win a prize or two. Come join us for an evening of connection, laughter, and community spirit!

7:15PM – 8:15 (Video Tent) Rally GPS Navigation Refresher with Eric Archambault A quick refresher on how to get your GPS unit (and yourself) ready to go explore the rides at the Touratech Rally!

 

7:30PM (Rally Tent) SheADV Social and Ergonomic Happy Hour Calling all women riders! Join the SheADV crew for a meet and greet to kick off the event weekend. Whether you’re signed up for training or just looking to meet other women at the rally, the whole SheADV gang will be here to hang and answer any questions. Snacks and smiles included!

 

8:00PM (Moto Chef Rally Café) –Moto Chef’s VIP Dinner - Rider and Professional Chef, Eric Rud is cooking up more than adventure tonight. Were you one of the lucky rally attendees that snapped up one of the 30 tickets to this exclusive experience? Enjoy!

8:30PM  (Video Tent) –Willem Avenant: Decoding Dakar – Don’t miss it this one! Join Willem Avenant, the first rider from South Africa's Karoo region to take on the Dakar Rally, as he shares his journey to competing in the world's most demanding off-road race. With years of experience in rally riding and a deep passion for making the sport more accessible, Willem has created Decoding Dakar—an initiative that breaks down the complexities of rally preparation. In this engaging presentation, Willem will walk you through the essential steps to plan, prep, and train for Dakar. Whether you're dreaming of Dakar or simply curious about rally racing, this presentation will inspire and equip you for the adventure of a lifetime.

8AM (Rider Tent) Friday’s Group Ride Sign-Ups - There are limited group rides available for most routes. More group rides will be available for the less challenging routes than for the more advanced. Ride times and meet-up instructions will be provided at the sign-ups.

8AM-Noon (Training Field) - SheADV  Level One – Part 2 Training

9:30AM (Rally Tent) Trail First-Aid Basics with ADV Medics - Join our onsite medical team as they give you some first-aid tips and techniques for managing incidents on the trail.

 

9:45AM-10:45AM (Video Tent) Embrace the Tuk- In June of 2023, a rider led a group of 5 Veterans and 1 Active-Duty service member on a 3-week, 6000-mile round motorcycle ride to Tuktoyaktuk and back, our starting point was the Coast Guard air station in Astoria Oregon. The adventure was filmed by two Emmy award winning videographers, Grace Schuessler and Alec Chacon to raise awareness to the epidemic of Veteran and Active-Duty military suicide. 

 

10-4PM BLACK FOREST OPEN – This trail/route is located on-site and is designed for riders to practice slow speed riding on a trail system. The course can be ridden in one direction only and there is a marshall and volunteers onsite to ensure safety.

11:30AM-12:30PM (Rally Tent) – How to Change a Tire on the Trail - If you ride off-road (or on-road) eventually you're going to need to change a flat tire. This is a skill every rider needs. Join Touratech's Matt Willson while he walks you through the basics and shares the tips and tricks that will get you back on the trail (or road).

11AM - Noon (Video Tent) Travel on a Motorcycle and Do Good! – Many motorcycle travelers want to support causes as a part of their journey. But they have no idea how they can support NGOs or raise money for a nonprofit as they travel, and some end up in engaging in activities that are now considered inappropriate and harmful, like trying to visit an orphanage or cuddling with wildlife. 

Host, Jayne Cravens is not only a veteran international traveler and motorcycle rider, she's also a former worker with the United Nations, currently works for Habitat for Humanity, and frequently trains nonprofits about volunteer engagement. She's going to combine all of that knowledge into a lively workshop to give motorcycle travelers solid advice so that they really can "make a difference" as they travel.

12:30PM-1:30PM (Video Tent) Tips & Tricks for Global Motorcycle Travel  -  Join veteran globetrotter and adventure motorcyclist George Karl as he shares essential tips and hard-earned tricks from decades of international travel. This dynamic session dives into the real-world situations that every cross-border rider needs—navigating unfamiliar customs and borders, managing language barriers, handling money and documents on the move, staying healthy abroad, and adapting to unexpected challenges. Packed with practical advice and colorful stories from the road, this presentation is a must for anyone planning—or dreaming of—a motorcycle adventure beyond their home country.

 

1PM-2PM (Rally Tent) – Ride Resilient: Stay in the Saddle Pain Free and Injury Free! This specialized training is designed for middle-aged and older motorcycle enthusiasts. Focusing on Physical Therapy dynamic techniques, it helps riders maintain strength, flexibility, and proper posture to reduce pain and prevent injuries. Whether you’re recovering from past strains or aiming to ride longer pain free, this program empowers you to enjoy the open road while prioritizing your health and mobility. Hosted by rider and physical therapist Kathleen Koenig

 

2PM-3PM (Video Tent) – Navigating Tricks and Tips with Eric Archambault An in-depth look at navigating with a GPS using tracks. This includes receiving .GPX files, installing them into your GPS unit, and how to successfully navigate with them. Bring your unit if you have one.

 

2:30PM – 3:30PM (Rally Tent) –Doing a Proper Pre-Ride Inspection  - Join our onsite Master Mechanic, Jorge Gonzalez from Scarabwerks as he walks you through the important pre-ride checks you should do before you hit the trail or road on your motorcycle

 

3:45PM – 4:45M (Video Tent) Why Go? - A Cinematic Journey Through Europe - Join Travel Filmmaker, Jesse Szynal on a multi-part film presentation through 34 countries in Europe.  Beginning in London and ending in Istanbul, Jesse shares his experiences on the road from wild camping to traversing the Amalfi Coast. Learn how easy it can be to make that dream trip of your own and get inspired to ride in foreign lands.  Unearth new cultures, cobblestoned cities and majestic landscapes through Jesse’s lens while discovering what a day on the road looks like. Have fun, ask questions, and learn that it doesn’t take a multi-person crew or much planning to pull off a Long Way Home style journey. Most importantly, answer the ‘Why Go?’ question for yourself and start riding towards a border. 

 

4PM-5PM (Rally Tent) Basic Field Hygiene (or, how to poop in the woods and stay clean off road) - This fun and informative workshop will focus not just on how to go to the bathroom, but also what steps to take to keep yourself and your equipment sanitary while out in the field. Adventure Rider James S. Peet has thousands of miles of hiking and ADV riding under his belt and employs these methods when he’s riding or hiking. 

 

4:30PM–5:30PM (Moto Chef Rally Cafe) BDR/SheADV VIP Supporters Dinner -Join BDR & SheADV for an unforgettable VIP Dinner prepared by Moto Chef.  This is your chance to mingle with fellow riders, enjoy delicious food, and connect with the BDR and SheADV teams in a relaxed and fun setting. Special guests will include familiar faces from both organizations, including BDR Co-Founder Paul Guillien, BDR Executive Director Inna Thorn, BDR Filmmaker Sterling Noren and his partner SheADV board member Eva Rupert, in addition to other local ADV riders and supporters. 5:30PM – 7PM (Vendor Village) Touratech Challenge: A NEW CHALLENGE IN A NEW LOCATION. We've moved out of the woods and onto the main rally field. It's NOT A RACE. Nothing fast or too technical. Just fun! All skill levels are welcome! YOU could win a trophy and all participants receive a collectible Rally Coin.

7:15PM – 8:15PM (Video Tent) BDR: Presenting Big News from the BDR - Backcountry Discovery Routes is entering a period of significant growth, doubling the number of routes over the next five years with a strategic expansion across the West, Central/Rockies, and East Coast regions. This presentation will highlight recent developments, including the SEBDR, newly developed Connector Routes, and the upcoming WABDR refresh. The BDR team will also share teasers for upcoming routes, including the Montana BDR, planned expansion into Canada with the BCBDR, and new BDR-X routes in Texas Hill Country, the Ozarks, the Adirondacks, and the Lost Coast. Hosted by Inna Thorn 

8:30PM-9:15PM (Video Tent) Exclusive Film Premiere: Azores Untamed - Paul Guillien hosts the American premier of Azores Untamed - Breathtaking landscapes, winding roads, and true adventure vibes. This spring, Charley Boorman and Paul Guillien explored the Azores on two wheels! Their unforgettable journey has been captured in a one-of-a-kind film that brings the wild spirit of the islands to life. 

9:30PM – 10:30PM (Video Tent) – Late Nite with Sterling Noren – ADV film pioneer, co-founder of Backcountry Discovery Routes and Youtube personality, Sterling Noren, shares experiences on 2-wheels and his latest film projects.

9:30AM –1:30PM  (Training Field) - DBST Adventure Rider Training Level 2 & Level 3

 

9:45AM-10:45 (Video Tent) – Finding Your Way thru the Tulips Join PNW Rider Michael Clough and Dakar finisher, Willem Avenant for an inside look at how Dakar racers navigate across deserts and mountains — and how you can too. Instead of GPS, they use a roadbook, an adjustable odometer, and a compass. Now, with just your phone or tablet, you can follow a Roadbook Tour yourself — no special equipment needed. This session will show you how to get roadbooks on your device and how to use them. After a quick intro to roadbooks, you'll learn how to read and follow one using visual cues, distance measurements, and heading indicators. We'll cover how to use the TerraPirata RallyRoadbooks app, interpret different types of waypoints, and what to do if you find yourself off course.

11AM-Noon (Rally Tent) Backcountry Survival Techniques - This class will be entertaining and will give you real world skills. Bob Hamilton is a retired Coeur d' Alene Fire Department Paramedic. He served 25 years in Emergency Medical Services with 18 years as a Paramedic. As a younger man Bob taught Scuba diving for 15 years and drag raced a turbocharged Funny Bike. Bob teamed up with one of his son in laws who is a retired US Air Force Survival School Instructor to put together a class designed specifically for Adventure riders. 

 

11:15AM-12:15PM (Video Tent) Tips for the TAT (Trans-America Trail) is designed for those that wish to undertake this 4,000-plus-mile trip from coast-to-coast on dirt roads and trails - the ultimate adventure. The presentation will cover how to prepare yourself and your bike for the trip by somebody who’s been there, done that. Hosted by James S. Peet 

12:30PM-1:30PM (Video Tent) Visiting Every State in the Lower 48 Join Amanda Zito as she recounts a 25,000-mile solo motorcycle odyssey to visit every state in the lower 48. This engaging session delves into the highs and challenging lows of traversing the diverse American landscape alone on two wheels. Amanda will unpack the real-world costs, meticulous planning, and invaluable lessons learned along the way, offering a treasure trove of tips and tricks she wishes she'd known before hitting the open road. A must-attend for aspiring long-distance riders and others who are interested in experiencing more of the US.

 

12:45PM-1:45PM (Rally Tent)  Advanced Motorcycle Vision Clinic - Join Jesse Murphy of Cascade Motorcycle Safety, your eyes are amazingly capable and the most helpful tool in making your ride more FUN.  Come learn about the details of how your eyes work, practice drills to make your eyes more effective, and learn strategies to use your eyes to make every adventure better.

1PM -3PM (Training Field)  Calling ALL Female RidersJoin SheADV coaches and staff for the All Women's Outrides. Calling all female riders of all levels!  We'll have beginner, intermediate, and advanced groups hitting the trails along with SheADV coaches and staff to explore the trails around the Touratech rally.  Riders are to meet no later than 1 p.m. in the SheADV training field for a safety briefing prior to the rides.

 

1:45PM-2:45 (Video Tent) How to Create Your Own GPS Guided Rides with Eric Archambault A look behind the curtain on how the rides at events like the Touratech Rally are made, and how to create GPS guided rides of your own.

 

2PM– 3PM (Rally Tent) Motorcycle Brake System Workshop – With Jesse Murphy of Cascade Motorcycle Safety – A perennial favorite.  Learn about how to care for and maintain one of the most important systems on your motorcycle, the brakes!  In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to service brake systems on our Brake System Simulator.  Knowing how to care for your brake system can be a ride saver on your next adventure. 

 

3PM (Video Tent)  Cut the Crap, Keep the Fun– Hosted by Matthew Williams , Youtuber (Tall Man Moto) –T ired of video editing tutorials that obsess over software but ignore what actually makes people hit "play"—and stay watching? This no-nonsense session skips the tech jargon and dives into how to film smarter, edit tighter, and shape adventure content that actually connects. Whether you're just starting or deep in the creator grind, you'll walk away with real-world tips to make your videos more watchable, more fun, and way more you.

 

3:30PM - 4:30PM (Rally Tent) V-of-Traction Blueprint: Foundational Techniques For Better Off-Road Riding - Join ADV Rider Training’s Jason Sherman for a dynamic, live demonstration designed to elevate your off-road riding skills. Discover the core techniques behind their renowned V-of-Traction —ADV Rider Training’s proven approach to rider control, confidence, and capability in any terrain. As the official training partner of Touratech-USA, ADV Rider Training has earned the trust of industry professionals and round-the-world adventurers alike. 4:15PM – 5:15PM (Video Tent)  5 Years as a Motorcycle YouTuber – Lessons Learned With over 350,000 subscribers, Ian Schoenleber from Big Rock Moto has become a major voice in ADV. He'll share insider information about the reality of running a motorcycle YouTube business. He'll bust commonly held myths about content creators, how money is actually made, and discuss what it feels like to turn your hobby into your full time job.

 

5:15PM (Mainstage) SheADV Iron Chef Competition Ditch your helmet and grab your chef’s hat… the SheADV Iron Chef Competition is coming in hot!  Ready to rock your campsite cooking skills?  Got what it takes to outdo your riding buddies at dinnertime?  Fire up your camp stove and get ready for the return of the SheADV Iron Chef Competition!  This year at the Touratech Rally, the 4th SheADV Iron Chef Competition is heating up once again and will be giver and tastier than ever before.  During this epic culinary battle, competitors will try to impress our panel of mot-celebrity judges and win some great prizes.  Don’t miss this event Hosted by Eva Rupert. You could win the coveted Adventure Cutting Board!

 

7PM – 7:30PM (Vendor Village) Touratech Slow RaceSlow down and keep that foot off the ground. Can you walk away with some hardware? All skill levels are welcome! It’s a test to see who will be last across the finish line! Win the first Donni Reddington Trophy!
